Synergy Selected to Enhance SAMHSA's National Health Campaigns
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) has selected Synergy Enterprises, Inc. (Synergy) to manage its vast portfolio of national outreach, public education, and engagement initiatives. Synergy’s digital and media team will provide multimedia and digital communications expertise to help SAMHSA promote the integration of substance abuse and mental health services into the framework of the Affordable Care Act.
SAMHSA’s “Talk. They Hear You.” Underage Drinking Prevention campaign is one of many that Synergy will promote, disseminate, and evaluate over the life of the contract. The goal of these health promotion campaigns and initiatives is to help build strong and supportive communities, prevent costly behavioral health problems, encourage resilience after traumatic experiences, and promote better health for all Americans. Since 2003, SAMHSA has selected Synergy as the contractor of choice to manage more than five of its contracts, including the National Institute on Drug Abuse/SAMHSA Blending Initiative, Prevention Fellowship Program, and National Recovery Month.
