Summer Intern

To perform administrative duties in support of contract tasks.

  • Organize and update project files.
  • Duplicate and assemble conference/review materials, including name badges, tent cards, signs, packets, and other materials as requested by client.
  • Screen and distribute materials/applications for conferences.
  • Provide other pre- and post-peer review/conference support such as copying, filing, mailing, and score-computing.
  • Receive and process Technical Review/reimbursement/honoraria Forms during and after the conferences/meetings.
  • Order necessary supplies.
  • Help maintain the supplies area.
  • Perform other administrative tasks in support of division contract projects as needed.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

 

  • At least one year of experience in data entry and general administrative support.
  • Proficiency in providing administrative and database support
  • Minimum of a High School diploma required.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience performing a variety of clerical and services support function.

 

 

 

 

Physical demands and work environment:

  • Physical demands:  While performing duties of job, employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle objects and documents; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.  Employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision. Employee may use office equipment such as telephone, computer, computer software, calculator, printer, copier, and facsimile. 
  • Work environment: Employees are not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
